March Break activities at colleges and universities

Whatever grade you are in, you are welcome at Ontario's colleges and universities over March Break for tours, activities and workshops.
Check out university and college websites for details about what they are offering to students and families over the break.
here is one option:
Trent University invites you to attend their Open House events on Wednesday, March 16 at their Durham campus or Friday, March 18 at their Peterborough campus.
You can take a tour, attend a mini lecture, and meet with students, professors, and the admissions and scholarships team to learn about applying, accepting your offer and saving money.
Don't have transportation? Trent is offering free buses out of Toronto.

Summer Co-op Credits with the TDSB

Do you want to earn a credit this July while gaining work experience?
Summer co-op may be for you!
Students must be in grade 11 or 12 this year to apply.
Speak with your Guidance counsellor to see if summer co-op is right for you.
Applications due March 25.

Stratford Trip

Attention all those students who have paid their deposit for the Stratford Trip to see Macbeth: permission forms are now available for you to pick up from Mr. Kay. Bring your final payment of 15 dollars and get your permission form to take home and get signed.

Ultimate Frisbee

Are you interested in playing ultimate Frisbee this spring? Great. Pick up a tryout form from the window outside guidance. First tryout is Monday morning at 7:30 am. See Ms. Vranesic if you have any questions.

Europe Trip

Have you thought about going to Europe during the March Break of 2017 with some of your closest friends? There will be an information session for parents on March 16th at 6 pm on speak to Ms. Nguyen in the Geo office.
