Guidance

1. Today is the last day to request a new course on your timetable- all forms must be handed in by 4pm today.
There is no rush to drop courses- senior students who are eligible for spares may continue to request spares throughout the year.
Students may also continue to request changes in level (e.g. Academic to Applied)

2. Now that timetables are finalized, we can start booking appointments for more in-depth discussions!
Come to guidance before school, after school or at lunch to book an appointment with your counselor. We are looking forward to working with you this year.

MMC

Attention loyal subjects to Her Majesty. For all those interested in getting involved in Canada's  Royal heritage and contacting Buckingham Palace, the Martingrove Monarchist Club will be meeting next Tuesday at the beginning of lunch in room 107. All are welcome 

MSC

Hey Bears! This is a reminder that MSC general application forms are posted on the display case in the foyer. The general audition sign up sheet can also be found there. All form are due this Friday!

Engineering Club. 

Everyone listen up! Engineering Club will be having their first workshop on Friday, October 14th in Room 110 at lunch. Forms for Engineering club t-shirts will also be available. To Re-iterate, engineering workshop at lunch in room 110 this Friday. Be there or be square! Lol.

Senior Girls Basketball

This weekend in senior girls basketball saw Manna Mensah dropping 43 pts in one of the games, besating Loyola 62-45. It also had Olivia Dipronio and Mary Ann Blake playing their hearts out on both ends of the floor, and most minutes through great pain.
Selected game MVP's also went out to second year Maya Batey and rookie Miranda Campbell.
Great job ladies. League play starts this Thursday against Richview!

Are you looking for a job? Human Community Services is hosting an employment workshop on Wednesday, September 28th in Central Etobicoke. Information is posted in Guidance.

Hey Martingrove! Do you like First Aid? Do you want to help your school? Come down to the ERT mail box in the office to pick up an application to be part of the Emergency Response Team. Returning and new members are welcome.

      If you are interested in performing or volunteering at Nuit Blanche, there will be a meeting TODAY after school in the aud. If you are not sure if your art form counts, come. If you don't even know what Nuit Blanche is, come. Just come. Today after school in the aud.

      Library Council

      There is a meeting for library volunteers from last year who are interested in serving on the Library Council executive. The meeting will be this Tuesday at the beginning of lunch in the library.

      Nutrition Program
