Bantam/Junior Rugby

The first cut list has been posted. Please check if you have made it past the first cut and be at the final tryout for 7 am this Friday.

Neuroscience Summer Camp in July - Scholarships are available

Students in grades 9 - 12 are invited to apply to the Bright Lights in the lab camp held in July at the University of Toronto School (Spadina and Bloor). Students will learn concepts in neuroscience and design hands-on lab experiments while working with professors from the University of Toronto.
There is a cost to the camp but students who need financial aid assistance can apply for scholarships.

Women's College Hospital Summer Volunteering - last chance to attend info session is today!

The final information session is taking place at the hospital today from 5 - 6 pm in room 6214.

TDSB Summer eLearning registration has begun

You can now request summer school courses through TDSB's eLearning program in July or August. 
Registration is a three-step process
1: Log-in and request a course
2: Print out the application form and get it signed by your guardian.
3: Bring the signed form to Guidance so that we can verify and approve your choice.
In class summer school registration has not begun yet. We will inform you when it has.

OSSLT Test

This is just a reminder that the EQAO Literacy Test is on Thursday, March 26, 2015. All grade 10 students are expected to write the EQAO Literacy Test as well as any grade 11 or 12 students who were not successful in the past.Lists of students who are scheduled to write this test are posted in front of the main office. Please check to make sure your name is on the list if you are expected to write the Literacy Test. If you would like extra help please see your current English teacher. If you have any questions about the Literacy Test please see Mr. Masciotra in the main office.

SHSM

Epilepsy is a chronic neurological condition characterized by recurrent seizures. One in every 100 Canadians has epilepsy. Support epilepsy research by buying a cup of Tazo's herbal tea for only 1 dollar on March 27th at the foyer. Available flavours include passion fruit, sweet orange, mint and chamomile. Con't forget to wear purple in support of Epilepsy Toronto Awareness week!
