Pink Day
Today is the International Day of Pink and today we wear pink to raise awareness against homophobia, transphobia and bullying as a whole. International Day of Pink was started by two students in Nova Scotia who saw a gay student wearing a pink shirt being bullied. They intervened but decided to do more and prevent homophobic and transphobic bullying and they bought pink shirts and within days the entire school was wearing pink in solidarity. Today we all stand together against bullying, homophobia, and transphobia.MEC Battery Bake Sale
Hey bears, MEC is hosting its final battery bake sale of the year in honour of Earth Week! Come out to the main foyer at lunch on April 19th and exchange your dead batteries for baked treats instead! This is the last one of the year bears, so make the most of it. Love, your MEC.

Hey MCI! On Thursday April 14, please join us in taking the vow of silence. Participants will cease to speak for the day to show support for those without a voice, and will recieve 5 volunteer hours. Starting Wednesday April 6th, come down to sign up outside the library. Tickets are only $2, so join us in support of a great cause.
