Cricket

In yesterday's game George Harvey batting first scored 72 runs in 6 overs. All our team players played exceptionally well. Ananmay played very good shorts which helped MCI to win the game by two wickets.
Next game is on Friday.

There will be another taquito sale this Thursday at lunch in the foyer. Taquitos and drinks will be 1 dollar each, All proceeds go to Relay for Life.

Scholarship reminder for grads

Ongoing: Don't forget to check the Scholarship Board in Guidance on a regular basis for new university and college scholarships with spring deadlines. Recently posted scholarships are aimed at Jamaican Canadian, Hindu, and Afghan Canadian students--look at the Board and you might find something that fits you.
New: The Abercrombie Scholarship is open to university-bound students in Etobicoke school It is worth approximately $650 and recognizes students who possess a well-rounded personality, demonstrate a fondness for athletic activities, have proven scholastic ability, demonstrate leadership potential, and show good moral character.
Deadline to submit your application to Martingrove's Scholarship Committee is Friday, April 29.

Hispanic Week

On April 20th come down to the small cafeteria for an interactive murder mystery detective show. Admission is 1 dollar first half of lunch. Come in groups of 2 to 4.

TDSB Summer School info

Ongoing: Registration for summer eLearning courses is underway. You can take an eLearning course in July or August,
Make sure you hand in to Guidance the signed permission form that the TDSB emails to you so that your counsellor can approve your request.
Coming soon: The list of courses and locations for July in-class Summer School is now posted on tdsb.on.ca and in the Guidance office. Registration begins on May 2.

For all grade 12 students graduating in June 2016:

Please check the Grad composite posted in the window of the main office to make sure of the following: 1) That your picture is included, 2) That your name is spelled correctly, 3) If you have any other concerns of questions please see Ms. Mavrou in the main office. The composite will be submitted in the next few weeks so please make sure to see Ms. Mavrou is there are any changes.

Latin American Drinks

Want some pina colada and Latin limeade? Come by in front of the aud tomorrow at lunch, to buy drinks for 50 cents. Please feel free to donate--the money will be donated to Relay for Life.
