Medical School Workshop At The Hospital For Sick Children!

Martingrove has been invited to send ten students to this full-day workshop on Sunday, November 30. Topics to be covered include how to prepare to apply to medical school and an introduction to different medical specialities.

Come to Guidance ASAP to find out more and to pick up an application.

Music Council

Hey MCI!
Music Council is hosting a Movie Night on Friday Nov 21st from 5pm to 9:30pm in the auditorium! We'll be screening 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' and 'Spirited Away'! Tickets are only $2 and they include chips or popcorn and drinks. Get your tickets at lunch today in the gym hallway.

Amnesty

In Swahili, the word for friend is "Rafiki". Every Rafiki an artisan makes help her earn a living, send her children to school and show the world the power of her skills and traditions. Now you can buy a Rafiki chain too. Each chain will be sold for $10 in front of the gym hallway. Sales will start on Monday, Nov. 17 to Friday, Nov 18. Remember Martingrove together we are Rafikis. 

MEC

Hey, Martingrove! MEC is having their Battery Bake Sale! Bring in your dead batteries for delicious treats! (cookies, cup cakes, etc.) The event is on Nov. 25th at lunch happening in the cafeteria. If you don't have batteries, we are also selling!

The Badminton Team

Do you like swacking Birdies? Have you mastered the drop shot? Do you think you could be on of the Kings of MCI's badminton court? If so, make your way to room 268 this Thursday at lunch to receive information and participation forms for MCI's varsity badminton team. Tryouts start next week! As always, no form - no tryout. Again, MCI's badminton team is meeting this Thursday @ lunch in room 268. It will be a "smash" hit!

Hey Martingrove, registration is now open for Martingrove Model United Nations, and will be until Friday, November 28. You can hand in your applications and money in front of the gym. Remember, $20 for a delegate, 4 delegates for a country.
